Francine Waskowicz Obituary
Francine was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the only child to the late Charlotte and John Waskowicz of McKeesport. She graduated from McKeesport High School '68 (where she was the Head Majorette) and attended Penn State.
Francine started her flight attendant career in 1971 where she met many life-long friends. She loved traveling and enjoyed layovers all over the world. Her favorites were anywhere with a beach. If there's a beach in Heaven, she will be there! Francine's career took her to many cities, but she called Manhattan home. Her apartment was always open to family and friends.
At every opportunity, she took her parents on trips with her. Their favorite was the trip to Poland. Francine made friends the world over and visited them when she could. She spent a lot of time exploring the most exotic places in the world. She went trekking through Nepal, spent many hours on the beach in Bali, Elat on the Red Sea, and with her friends on Brighton Beach. She skied the Alps, had a Malibu Grand Prix racing license, and called Tina Turner a friend.
Francine was a life-long, avid baseball, tennis, football (Steeler), and basketball fan. She attended many U.S. Open tournaments, hockey, football and countless baseball games. If she couldn't attend personally, she would dress team-appropriately and root them on with friends.
Francine's memory will live on through those that love and will forever miss her. This includes special cousins/cohorts, nieces and nephews, her beloved Finley, her fur babies and her countless friends. Francine was encouraged, supported and cared for by her many friends who were with her to the very end. She will be laid to rest with her parents. Arrangements are entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral and Crematory. Family and Friends are welcome to gather for a Graveside Blessing Service on March 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Polish Cemetery, 184-186 Upper Heckman Rd, North Versailles, PA 15137.In lieu of flowers, Francine would want you to take a trip! Condolences and Memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.

Alter they passed she wanted to retire. At AA Inflight LGA I told her to wait. Glad she did. Last lLO together MIA by the pool. A joy. In our Hearts Forever Beach Bunny

Francine and I had several trips to Las Vegas in our earlier days with TWA. There was never a dull moment when you were with Francine, she had a zest for life and enjoyed life to the fullest every day!

Francine and I graduated the same year at TWA and we flew together many times over our long career. She did love her beach time! We flew all night to Barcelona, she went to hotel and then left to catch a train to go to the beach. She was always happy and fun to work with. Condolences to her family and friends. Sharon Sequeira
