Obituary
Francis Scott Berger, 61, of North Brunswick, NJ passed away on Saturday September 9th, 2023.
Francis, or Scott, as most people knew him, was born on May 4, 1962 at Middlesex General Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He spent his childhood in Edison and settled down in North Brunswick, NJ. An arborist by trade, Scott worked in the tree removal business most of his life, at one point even owning his own business. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and taking trips through the scenic landscapes around him. A Deadhead, he often spent the weekend mornings blasting their music, regardless of what hour in the morning it was. He always had a big heart for animals, especially his dogs, loving every set of paws or pair of wings that came through his front door.
His summers were spent down the Jersey shore on the boardwalk or at Hershey Park campgrounds with his family. He had a way of making anybody in the room laugh and had a story for every occasion. He lived a life full of adventure and had made an impact on everyone around him.
Scott is predeceased by his parents, Loretta and Grady Waddell, and his sister Donna Yanez. He was a proud father and is survived by his sons, Ryan, Dylan and his wife Erinn, and Devin Berger, and Christopher Walzer; his sisters Debra Waddell-Adorna and Lynnda Waddell, and his brother Grady Waddell; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was deeply loved by his family and lifelong friends and will be greatly missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, September 15th, 2023 from 4PM-8PM at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home, Inc located at 152 N Main Street, Milltown, NJ 08850. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you instead consider a donation towards his final resting place.
