Francis Eugene “Grant” Chesser, 90, of Folkston, GA passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born in Folkston, GA on March 2, 1934 to the late Robert Allen “Ridley” Chesser and Cornelia Justice Chesser.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Barbara Ann Cowart Chesser, 4-sons; Steve Chesser, Ronnie Chesser, Neil Chesser and Danny Chesser, and 6-siblings; Robert Allen Chesser, Jr., Harold Chesser, Linda Mae Burnsed, Freddie Jackson “Jack” Chesser, Louise Crews, and Minnie Lee Morgan.
He is survived by his 2-daughters; Margaret (Frank) Varnes and Peggy Gay, brother; James Chesser, sister; Maggie Patterson, 8-grandchildren and 10-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
