Francis "Frank" Danza

Francis Nicholas Danza, 87, passed away peacefully and entered eternal rest on February 14th in the presence of loved ones.

Francis, better known as Frank, was born in Bronx, New York, and graduated from James Monroe High School, also in the Bronx. Later, he would move his family to Poughkeepsie, New York.

Frank's career was centered around printing. He became an advanced career printer during a span of 50 years.

He was also an avid bowler, competed in leagues as well as taught others his knowledge of bowling.

In his later years, he would move to North Carolina and called this his home until his death.

He was a devout Catholic and was the sacristan of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kinston, North Carolina for many years.

Frank was pre-deceased by his parents, Frank and Annette Danza, as well as his wife, Margaret Hauser, and his second wife, Amy Murphy.

He is survived by his loving family: sister, Maryann Ryan of New York; sons, Frank Danza (Phyllis) of Tazewell, Tennessee, Joseph Danza (Anne) of Newburgh, New York, and Peter Danza (Melanie) of Pollocksville, North Carolina. He is also survived by one daughter, Annmarie Danza of Greenville, North Carolina. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Brookstone Living Center in Pollocksville for their care during the last months of Franks life.

Services will be held at Holy Spirit Church, located at 400 Academy Heights Road Kinston, North Carolina 28504, on Friday, February 20th at 10:00 am.
