Francis A. Francione, Jr., 74, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Deborah D. (Haberman) Francione with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Francis, affectionately known as Frank, was born in Somerville on October 6, 1950, the son of the late Francis A. Sr., and Rosemarie (Mantini) Francione.
Frank was a proud employee at the Raytheon Company for over 40 years, holding many managerial positions. He was best known for his generosity. It was said he was the "go to man" and never said no to helping someone in need, especially his family. He loved boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, where he lived for a few years. He enjoyed Italian cooking, always making too much of what he learned from his talented mother. Frank Sinatra and country oldies were just some of the music he enjoyed. He followed Boston sports as well as all of his grandchildren's passions including football, cheer, and musical theater.
In addition to his loving wife, Frank leaves behind his children, Amy (Francione) Ingram and her husband Brian Ingram of Four Oaks, NC, and Frank Francione III and his wife Kristen (Harrington) Francione of Chelmsford. He was the loving grandfather of Frank Francione IV, Giada Ingram, Jase Ingram, and Everly Francione.
He was predeceased by his brother Ralph Francione, his uncle Augustine Mantini, his cousin Susan (Mantini) Bratton and dear friends Ron and June DeRosa and O'Neil LeBlanc.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 9 am at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 115 Middlesex St., North Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
