CLIFTON PARK – Francis “Frank” J. DelSignore, 76, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at home with his family by his side. He was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1948, to the late Albert D. and Rose Russo DelSignore.
Raised in Watervliet, he was a graduate of the La Salle Institute, class of ‘66 and Siena College, class of ‘71. He worked at the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles from 1974 to 2003, where he met the love of his life, Grace, with whom he settled in Clifton Park in 1980. Among his noted achievements at the DMV was his management of the plate reissuance of 2001.
Frank loved his family, first and most. He was also an avid collector of classic cars, proudest of his 1967 Mercury Cyclone and 1967 Ford F100, for which he won many awards at numerous car shows around the region. He was an active member of Saint Edward the Confessor Church, where he had a penchant for singing loudly and making new friends. He loved rooting for the Yankees (when they were winning) and Penn State football.
Frank was the beloved husband of Grace, his wife of 45 years; adored father of daughter Kimberly (Doug Bartling, Jr.) Dandino and son Frank (Ashley) DelSignore, Jr.; treasured Papa of grandchildren Otis and Meghan Pinnell; devoted brother and best friend of Albert (Judy) DelSignore, Jr.; and cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his brother Dominick DelSignore of Watervliet, and sister Louise Brooker of Watervliet.
