Francis R. "Franny" Kramer

Mr. Francis R. 'Frannie' Kramer, of Weymouth, passed Monday, March 11, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was 88.
Francis was born in Boston on July 17, 1935, son of the late William B. and Catherine (Leary) Kramer. He was raised and educated in Dorchester. He worked for 37 years for the VA hospital in Jamaica Plain as a plumber and pipe fitter. Following his retirement from the VA his days were spent with his grandchildren that were his pride and joy. Francis was an avid skier and loved the outdoors.
Loving and devoted husband of 53 years to Margaret (Lynch) Kramer. Father to Padric, Matthew, and Krysten. Father-in-law to Christopher.
Grandfather to Makayla, Maya, Courtney, and Logan.
Brother to Sister Theresa Joseph, SCH of Wellesley and the brother to the late William J. Kramer of Waltham.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday FROM 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
