Francis Anthony Kuban "Frank"
Francis, affectionately known as Frank, a caring and vivacious man, passed away at the age of 92, on November 9, 2024, in Racine, Wisconsin, due to natural causes. Born on the 20th of February 1932, in Cudahy, Wisconsin, to Josef and Magdalena Kuban, Frank's life was one of devotion to his family, his work, and his passions.
Frank's journey began in the charming town of Cudahy, where his laughter and warmth were woven into the fabric of the community. He completed his education by earning a GED while serving with pride and honor in the United States Air Force. Establishing a strong work ethic early on, Frank built a commendable career of 35 years at Allen Bradley (Boeing), where he dedicated himself to quality craftsmanship, earning respect and friendship among his colleagues and supervisors alike.
Beyond work, Frank was a man of diverse interests and talents. His love for socializing was evident in every aspect of his life. He could often be found on the dance floor enjoying a cool beverage. A speaker of his native Slovakia, he enjoyed connecting with his roots and sharing his heritage through language. Frank also possessed a remarkable green thumb, maintaining a lush and pristine lawn that was the envy of his neighborhood, and his gardening skills were second only to his ability with woodwork.
His resourcefulness extended to a lifelong passion for cars, tinkering on his beloved vehicles with skill and attention to detail. Frank found contentment and pride in a job well done.
Frank was a man who forged lasting bonds, a testament to his kindhearted nature and his unwavering belief in the value of family. He leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, strong values, and cherished memories. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Joseph Kuban, Mary Anne Duffy, Anne Marshall, Francesca Brinza, and his daughter Laura Weisflog, his love continues through his daughters Lynne (Eric) Triebold, Karen (Jon) Madderom, Cheryl (Craig) Gawlak, and Susan (Richard) Paciga; Son In Law Gerald Weisflog; his grandchildren Ryan (Theresa) Triebold, Sarah (Morgan) Pollard, Matthew (Monica) Bell, Andrea Bell, Cydney (Brett) Vahsholtz, Gavin Weisflog, Hailey (Andy) Perring, Lindsey and Sean Walsh, Anthony (Danielle) Kuban, Nicholas, Madison, and Shelby Paciga; and his adored great-grandchildren Oliani, Elizabeth, Lilly, Ava, Paige, Eli, Emerson, and Penelope.
Frank's memory will be treasured; his absence profoundly felt among all those whose lives he touched. As Frank's journey on earth concludes, his story remains etched in the hearts of those he loved. Friends and family will honor Frank's memory in a ceremony on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at 9:00 A.M. at the SOUTHERN WISCONSIN VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY located at 21731 Spring St. Union Grove, WI 53132 with refreshments to follow at Joe's K Ranch in Cudahy.
