Francis "Frank" R. Lihotz passed away following illness on Monday, July 4, 2022, at his residence in Cinnaminson. Born in Philadelphia to Francis and Gloria Lihotz, Frank was 67 years old. He was a resident of Cinnaminson for most of his life, growing up there and returning with his family twenty-six years ago.
Beloved husband of 41 years to Kathryn G. (nee Gannon) Lihotz. Loving father of John C. Lihotz. Dear son of Gloria and the late Francis Lihotz. Brother of Marie E. (Louis Procacci) Lihotz, Lynne A. Lihotz and Jeanne L. Lihotz. Also surviving are many dear sisters and brothers-in-law, and cherished nieces and nephews.
Frank received his bachelor's of music degree from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, now called the University of the Arts. He was employed as a systems engineer for IMS Technology Services in Garnet Valley, PA for 15 years. Frank was self employed for twenty years, and had also worked at Pierce Phelps in Philadelphia early in his career.
Frank loved cooking for family and friends and was a great home chef. Music was an essential part of his being, and Frank spent much of his life playing guitar in live bands. For ten years he led the worship band at Christ's Bible Church, and was a long time member of the worship team at The Rising Community Fellowship and Outreach Center in Moorestown, NJ. Frank was a Christian believer who lived out his favorite verse, from Philippians 1:21, "For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity]."
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 13th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North.
His Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the food pantry at The Unforgotten Haven, 100 S Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
