Dr. Francis Milano, of Long Beach Township, New Jersey, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on August 30, 2025, at the age of 97.

Born on April 3, 1928, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Joseph and Mildred Milano, Francis lived a long and full life dedicated to family, service, and community. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine Milano, with whom he shared 72 wonderful years of marriage.

He is survived by his brother Bernard Milano (Sharon Pierson) and sister Rosalie Craig; his daughters Linda (Mark) Everline, Donna Norris, and Karen Milano (Greg LaVardera); his grandchildren Meghan (Michael) Rabb, Shelby Everline, Lillian (Bryce) Davidson, and Lydia Milano; his great-grandson, Ronin Rabb; and many nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Temple University Dental School in 1952, Francis served his country proudly as a Captain in the United States Air Force, stationed at Kimpo Air Base in South Korea during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Upon returning home, he opened his dental practice in Merchantville, where he cared for patients for 35 years. In addition, he gave back to his community by serving on the Merchantville School Board. After retiring, Francis and Lorraine moved permanently to Long Beach Island, where they enjoyed many years together.

Francis found joy in traveling, spending time on the golf course, and most of all, being surrounded by is family. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will be cherished by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francis's memory to the Barnegat Light First Aid Squad, 15 West 10th Street, P.O. Box 112, Barnegat Light, New Jersey 08006. Arrangements and private cremation are under the direction of Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home in Ship Bottom.
