Francis Rodriguez

Francis Rodriguez, 80, of Trenton, NJ entered the Lords kingdom on January 24, 2025 at Capital Health Regional with his loving family by his side. Affectionately known as Frank or Indio, he was born in Mayaguez, PR to parents Inocencia Malave, and Eugenio Rodriguez. Frank enjoyed his daily six pack of Bud Light, his cigarettes, and visiting with his neighbors. He retired in 2007 after thirty-five years of dedicated service from American Standard in Hamilton, NJ. After retirement he focused his time on traveling, and getting as much deserved rest. As time progressed his attention was focused on raising his great- grandsons Zahir (Pancho) and Zalir (Nootie) who were the lights of his eyes and his whole world.
He is predeceased by his parents, son: Francis, and several siblings. Francis is survived by his wife Angela, children: Wanda L. Villanueva, Angel (Buzz), Wilson, Jeronimo (Jay), Flor (Cokey), Angela (Angie), Susana (Susy), and Amores (Momo) Rodríguez. He is also survived by his granddaughters Jocelin Anavisca, Emanie Evans, her sons Zahir and Zalir who he helped raise, and have always been by his side, and his youngest grandson Fabian Anavisca. His brothers and sister: Diego, Orlando (Lando), Jose Antonio (Toño), and Margarita ( Margot) mourn his passing. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends are left with his memory. Francis leaves these two final messages to all that knew him well "COJE LA ORILLA Y LA SOMBRA, AGUACATE" and "SEE YOU LATER ALLIGATOR."
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd, Hamilton, NJ 08619 on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and a second visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Catholic funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral home by Father Rafael Vargas. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
