Park Lawn Funeral Home - Kansas CityFrancis C. Schwartz Jr. (Frank), of Independence, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 87.
Frank’s love of adventure began early in life as he traveled the country with his father, visiting all 48 continental states. He later built a career as a union (Teamsters) furniture mover in Kansas City, where he was entrusted with moving well-known icons, including H. Rowe Bartel, Ewing Kauffman and Lamar Hunt. Frank’s encyclopedic knowledge of movies was legendary among friends and family; he could share details about nearly any film ever made. He also enjoyed cheering for his beloved Kansas City sports teams.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie White; father, William White; siblings, John White, Tom Schwartz, Joe Schwartz, Sandy Hirst, and Judy Routon. He is survived by his brother, Niklaus Alexander, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephew.
Frank will be remembered for his kindness, his generous spirit, and the warmth he shared with all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Forever in our hearts.
