Francis Joseph Sheckells

Joseph Sheckells, a life-long Baltimore resident, passed away on December 16, 2024. Joe worked as a bus driver for Baltimore County Public Schools for 16 years. He was a great lover of the Xtra slot machines and shots of Fireball. He loved nothing more than a long ride to Ocean City and watching the Orioles and Ravens. Joe was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He loved to watch his grandkids on the soccer field, basketball court, and baseball field.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane Sheckells, his daughter, Brigette Cascio, and son-in-law, Kerry Cascio, his grandchildren, Joey and Lily, and his sister, Donna Smith, and brother, Thomas Sheckells. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Sheckells and Tim Sheckells.
Friends may call the Funeral Home, 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29B) on Thursday, December 19th from 3 to 7p.m. A funeral service will begin at 7p.m.
