Francis E Simendinger

In Loving Memory of Francis (Buddy) Edward Simendinger.

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

Born in Pittsburgh PA on April 13th 1941, Passed Away in Greenville PA on August 1st 2025.

He was 84 years old.

Born the son of the late William H. and Leona C. (Nichols) Simendinger, he is predeceased by his brother William and his sisters Elaine Barkey and Carol Brandl. He is survived by his wife June Rose (Hetra), sons William Andrew (wife Sabrina) and Francis Edward (wife Shannon), grandchildren Jessica, Mercedes, Portia, Gage, and great grandchildren Esme and Aurora, as well as his brother-in-law Andrew Hetra, and nieces and nephews along with their children and grandchildren.

Upon graduation from Oliver High School in Pittsburgh in 1960 he joined the US Navy. He married his high-school sweetheart June in 1962. He owned a service station, was an over-the-road truck driver, and had various sales positions.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1979. He attended meetings in person and, later, remotely and has remained an active preacher of the Bible's message until his death.

A memorial service will be held on August 23rd at 1:00PM at the Kingdom Hall in Hermitage, PA at 2885 Hann Hill Road. A provision for attending on Zoom is available.
