The chapel service for Francisco "Pancho" Aleman, age 73, of Lubbock, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Resthaven Chapel in Lubbock, with Preacher Alfredo Pineda of Lubbock officiating. Interment will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Resthaven Chapel. Pancho passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Lubbock. He was born on October 4, 1952, in La Joya de Luna, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Luciano and Maxima (Lopez) Aleman.
He married Maria Concepcion Lopez Aleman in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on June 11, 1974. Pancho dedicated over 44 years to the profession of carpet installation, where his notably large hands were instrumental in his work, which he cherished, along with the camaraderie of his colleagues. Pancho was an ardent supporter of the L.A. Dodgers. He had a deep passion for mowing his lawn and those of others. He enjoyed listening to music, particularly "Los Indomables de Cedral." Pancho adored all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of MLK Iglesia de Cristo in Lubbock. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, parents, one sister, and three brothers.
Pancho is survived by his three sons, Javier Aleman of Lubbock, Texas, Jimmy Aleman and his wife, Rosa Maria, of Lubbock, Texas, and Alvaro Aleman and his wife, Olivia, of Lubbock, Texas; his two daughters, Veronica Arocha and her husband, Ralph Sr., of Lubbock, Texas, and Ruby Soto and her husband, Andrew, of Lubbock, Texas; and fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven sisters.
