With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Francisco Javier Fabela, a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on May 17, 2025 at the age of 79.
Born on December 3, 1945 in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Francisco was a man of deep strength, unwavering values, and an open heart. He carried the warmth and resilience of his roots with him wherever he went, touching the lives of everyone he met. Known for his positivity, kindness, strong work ethic, and devotion to his family, Francisco built a life centered on love, integrity, and purpose.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Kiko Jr, and his mother Maria Luisa Alaniz Fabela.
He is survived by his family members-wife of 34 years, Maria Elena Padilla Mora, children ( Lola Gachupin, Ruby Wing, and Maria Elena Fabela Padilla. Grandchildren ; Shareen, Ashly, Diego, Sofia, Johnny, Josiah, and Jonah. Siblings, Manuela(Nella), Lidia, Jose(Joe), Maria, Josephine, Socorro, and Martin, who will carry forward his memory with honor and gratitude. His legacy will live on through the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely.
A viewing will be held on May 28 at 5 pm following a rosary at 6:30pm at St Theodore's Catholic Church, 116 S Belden Gonzales, Ca 93926. On May 29, a mass will be held at 11 am at St Theodore's Catholic Church, 116 S Belden Gonzales, Ca 93926 where friends and family are invited to celebrate Francisco's life and bid a loving farewell.
Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts."
