Francisco Martinez, a distinguished mill worker in the carpet mill industry, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 4, 2026. Born on October 4, 1937, in San Jose Reyes, Durango, Mexico. Francisco embraced a life characterized by hard work and devotion to his family.
Throughout his career as a mill worker, Francisco dedicated countless hours to his craft, contributing significantly to the community and the industry. His work ethic was exemplary, and he was known for his reliability and diligence on the job.
Francisco is remembered as a loving father and grandfather, and he took immense pride in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Jesu Martinez, Maria Martinez, Jose Martinez, Delfina Martinez, Manuel Martinez, Rafael Martinez, Jose Alberto Ramirez, Yesenia Avila-Austin, and Samantha Avila. Additionally, he leaves behind a legacy of love through his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Concepcion, and is also survived by his siblings: Socorro Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Dolores Martinez, and Rita Martinez, who will carry on his memory.
The funeral service for Francisco Martinez will be held on February 7, 2026, at Dalton Funeral Home, located at 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA, beginning at 3:00 PM. The visitation will be February 6, 2026 allowing friends and family to gather and pay their respects from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home.
Francisco’s spirit and dedication to family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His journey may have ended, but his influence will endure through the generations he cherished.
