Mr. Velez leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Kimara Pierce and Kristi (Kenna) Thomas; 12 grandchildren, including special granddaughters, Martina Morris and Kristin Vega; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Angie (Rudy) Delatorre; nieces, Novemi, Anita ad Dena; nephews, Rudy, Jr. and Ricky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Velez was preceded in death by his son, Mark Velez; parents, Julio and Juanita Velez; brother, Rudy Velez; and sisters, Nancy Cantu and Shelia Vasquez
