Frank T. Abrams Jr.

1948 – 2025

Frank T. Abrams Jr. of Trenton passed away on December 27, 2025.

Frank was born on October 1, 1948, in South Carolina. He grew up in a farming community and often shared stories of his childhood, working on the land his family lived on and sharecropped. Those early years shaped his strong work ethic and deep appreciation for perseverance and community.

At 18, Frank moved from South Carolina to Trenton, New Jersey, where he would reside for the rest of his life. He worked for IMO DeLaval as a welder and pipe fitter for 26 years. There, he contributed to the manufacturing of turbines for U.S. Naval vessels. Afterward, Frank stepped fully into entrepreneurship where he spent the next 25 years successfully running his family-owned and operated business, Abrams Vending. Through this work, he provided valued services to the community. He became a familiar and beloved presence at festivals up and down the East Coast, from New Hampshire to South Carolina. He was most recently known for fresh-squeezed lemonade and funnel cakes.

Frank loved the open road and riding his Harley-Davidson. As a member of the Cycle Kings Motorcycle Club for nearly 20 years, he built lasting friendships.

He had a unique and thoughtful perspective on life, which he generously shared with everyone he met. Frank was deeply selfless, offering support to friends, family, and even strangers drawn to him as they navigated life's ups and downs. His faith in God was unwavering, and he embraced both Jewish and Christian teachings with openness and reverence. Above all, he loved his family deeply.

Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Marion Abrams; his two daughters, Latonya Abrams and Renisha O'Donnell; his sister, Mary Lewis of Texas; and his two brothers, Luther Abrams of South Carolina and Willie Abrams of Texas. He is also lovingly remembered by many friends, colleagues, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Langrum; his father, Frank T. Abrams; his mother, Mary L. Mason; his mother-in-law, Daisy Husband; and his father-in-law, J.C. Kemp.

Funeral services are Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, located 1534 Pennington Rd. Ewing, NJ 08618. Rabbi Eli Perlman will officiate. Burial will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park in Ewing. Shiva details will be announced at the funeral service.
