Frank A. Beckert, age 90, of Mechanicsburg, passed on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Frank was born on February 22, 1935, in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Frederick Beckert and Bridgette (Monaghan) Beckert. Frank was the widower of Mary Frances (Nolan), to whom he married for 63 years. In addition to his parents and wife, Frank is preceded in death by his brother, Frederick Beckert.
Frank’s survivors include his children Mark, John, Maureen and Bernadette (Leo), as well as his seven grandchildren.
Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, woodworking, and was a talented taxidermist. He was sure to make you laugh with a funny story or witty remark. He will be greatly missed by his kids, and grandkids.
Frank’s family will be celebrating his life privately. Interment in Union Cemetery in Hackettstown, NJ, will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.
