Frank Bianco peacefully passed away on May 6, 2025, joining the love of his life, Adele. Their extraordinary love story began at the age of 14, when they met in a high school musical production of Babes in Arms. That moment sparked a romance that would grow into a marriage of 53 beautiful years.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Frank was the youngest of five children born to Frank and Elizabeth (Brill) Bianco. A proud American, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. While serving, Frank created a USO variety show to entertain his fellow troops-an early expression of what would become his lifelong passion: music.
Following his honorable discharge, Frank was signed by Atlantic Records and went on to perform with legendary artists including Sammy Davis Jr. and Marilyn Monroe. He also collaborated with Frank Sinatra's orchestra under the direction of Nelson Riddle. One of his proudest musical accomplishments was the release of his records Now I Know and Angelita, featured in the film The Restless Breed starring Anne Bancroft. He appeared on the Jack Parr Show, Joe Franklins Memory Lane, and American Bandstand.
In addition to his musical achievements, Frank was a successful entrepreneur. He owned and operated Delmar Specialties for 35 years, serving the construction industry and contributing to iconic New York City projects such as the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the Winter Garden at Battery Park. His work remains a lasting part of the city's skyline and history.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife Adele, his sisters Evelyn, Lillian, and Ella, and his brother Joseph.
He is survived by his loving children, daughter Marjory (Jamie) and son Frank (Amy). He deeply cherished his grandchildren: Steven (Jennifer), Frank (Seijin), Scott (Marley), and Taylor (Cristian). His heart grew even fuller with the blessing of his great-grandchildren: Andrew, Ella, and Anthony. Frank maintained a close relationship with Phil, Marjory's former husband. His nieces and nephews many friends and extended family also held a special place in his life.
Services will be held at Moritz Funeral Home, Tappan, NY, on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Frank will be remembered for his music, his work, and most of all, his boundless love for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts he touched and the city he helped build.
