Frank Bitetto, 78, of Basil Crossing, Cranston, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, September 16, 2023. Born May 3, 1945, in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Irene (Capaldi) Bitetto.
Frank worked at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick for over 20 years in the catering department and was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and of Elvis.
Frank was also an avid bowler, he was a member of the the Family and Friends Bowling League at AMF Bowlero for many, many years. Frank loved to travel and took many trips over the years to follow his favorite, Boston Red Sox, to many stadiums. He also traveled to destinations such as New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Graceland in Tennessee, Toronto, Cleveland Baltimore, and Disney World, among other places.
Frank was loved by many and will be dearly missed by his Gateways Family.
Family and Friends are invited to gather Wednesday morning Sept. 20, for Visitation from 8:15am until 9:15am in the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
