Frank Blea Obituary
Frank Blea, 91, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025. He is survived by his three children Frank E. Blea, wife, Sandra, Alberta Roxanne Baca, Steven M. Blea, wife LuAnn; Grandchildren, Frank E. Blea II and Alicia, Christopher M. Baca and Tammy, Jeffrey S. Blea, Daniel J. Baca and Erika, Gregory A. Blea and Isabel, and Jamie S. Carpenter and Kevin; Great-Grandchildren, Elena, Eglen, Izabelle, Caleb, Daniella, Felix, Kylie, Grayson, Scarlett, Lawson, Ophelia and Ethan. Also, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gladys Blea {married 72 years}, his Mother, Ramona Montoya, Stepfather, Monford Montoya, sister, Alice Duran and brother, Manuel Blea.
Frank graduated from Albuquerque High School where he met Gladys, the love of his life. He was an avid golfer, being a member of the Albuquerque Country Club for many years also Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, AZ and later at Tanoan Country Club and Angel Fire Country Club. He was active in the business world as a Chevron Oil Dealer, Real Estate Investment Co and an Art Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. Frank never met a stranger, he had an extremely outgoing personality. He loved to fish with family and friends, especially at Eagle Nest Lake near their home in Angel Fire. He enjoyed wonderful memories of cruising and traveling all over the world including attending PGA and LPGA golf tournaments and family gatherings and celebrations.
It is his wish, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Animal Humane New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE Albuquerque, NM 87108.
Services for Frank will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at FRENCH - Lomas Chapel. Service will begin at 10:00 am.
