Frank A. Borsuk Sr.

Frank Albert Borsuk, Sr., 87, of Glen Dale, WV, died peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home. Frank was born on March 12,1938 in Glen Dale, WV, a son of the late Albert and Mary (Postol) Borsuk. He was the youngest of nine siblings (Jozef, Anatashia, Walter, Nancy, Mary, Michael, Thomas, Helen). He attended St. Francis Elementary School and Union High School and then joined the Navy in 1956, returning home to Glen Dale in 1960. In 1962, Frank married Nancy (Andrich) Borsuk and they were married for over 63 years.

Frank was a loving family man who enjoyed his family. He was born on the banks of the Ohio River and enjoyed boating on the river and sailing at Seneca Lake. He instilled this love of the water in all of his children. He also enjoyed a good game of pinochle and played often with his family. Frank and his family are members of St Jude Church in Glen Dale, and he and his wife worked the fish fry for many years to support their church.

Frank is survived by his wife, Nancy, and his 5 children: Nan (Brad) Hartley of Wheeling, WV; Michele Holliday of Glen Dale, WV; Frank Jr. (Jane) Borsuk of Wheeling, WV; Joe Borsuk of Sterling, VA; and Catherine Whittard of Ashburn, VA. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren: Aggie Holliday; Anna Holliday; Andrew Holliday; Ben Holliday; Ulayna Hartley; Ethan Hartley; Michael Borsuk; and Lauren Whittard.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at St Jude Church in Glen Dale, WV. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm with Father Doney Chacko officiating. Interment will be immediately after the mass at Riverview Cemetery.
