Frank F. Bures Jr.

Frank Francis Bures Jr., age 71 of Shelton,entered into eternal rest on Friday February 13, 2026 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was the loving husband of Judy (Pagliaro) Bures.

He was born in Derby on December 23, 1954, son of the late Frank and Anna (Zolopa) Bures, Sr. and was a lifelong Shelton resident.

Frank grew up on his family farm in Shelton and became involved in the operation selling farm and mechanical equipment until his retirement. He loved to feed the animals and birds around his house.

Frank is also survived by one brother John Bures and his wife Gilda, two sisters Anna Marie Bures and Helen Urbanovitch and her husband Stephen, three nieces Shannon Bures Lynn and her husband Chazz, Amanda and Makenzi Bures, four nephews, Cody Bures and his wife Michelle, Joel, Justin, and Jason Maki, and six great nieces and nephews, Riley, Emma, Harley and Lily Bures, Teresa and Trey Lynn. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Maki.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Friday February 20, 2026 at 10:00 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45 am at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Avenue Shelton. His burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Derby
