Frank A. Carretta

ROCHESTER, NY - Frank passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at the age of 96.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Frank was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Ceil. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Don Feigel; grandchildren Kirsten, Erin, and Evan (Kayleen O'Brien) Feigel; son, Christopher.
He will be remembered for his quiet manner, generosity, dedication, and willingness to lend a hand.
Frank began working as a young boy and developed a strong work ethic. He spent 50+ years in the food service industry, the majority of which as owner of a successful wholesale meat company.
Nothing made Frank prouder than his grandchildren. He was their champion, a constant presence in their lives and a proud witness to their accomplishments. To grandpa, they were the best and brightest.
Frank enjoyed spending winters in Florida and his daily morning bike rides along the ocean, followed by coffee at the beach with Ceil. Proud of his Italian heritage, he and Ceil traveled to Italy several times to visit family and soak in the culture.
Frank's Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at Noon at the Walter and Barbara Parkes Family Chapel at St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, followed by inurnment at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.

Frank's family extends thanks to the staff and providers at St. Ann's Wegman Care Center for their care and dedication. Their compassion and kindness will always be remembered with gratitude.
