Frank Casa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Profetta Funeral Chapel - Webster on Jan. 7, 2026.
Irondequoit, NY passed away peacefully on December 31st. 2025 surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born in Auburn, New York, on February 12th, 1935, Frank left this world just six weeks before his 91st birthday, closing a long and meaningful life marked by devotion, service, and generosity.

Frank was the beloved husband of Fran Cordaro Casa, with whom he shared nearly 59 years of marriage. Together they built a life grounded in family, love, and unwavering commitment, their partnership was the heart of a home that welcomed all with warmth and kindness.

A proud and caring father, Frank is survived by his children: Frank Casa of Walworth, New York; Marisa Casa Sutton of San Rafael, California; and Christopher Casa and his wife Bethany of Penfield, New York. He was a devoted grandfather to four cherished grandchildren, Abigail and Grace Sutton both 13, Silas Casa,12 and Leela Casa,11 who brought him immense joy. Frank is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews and their families, all of whom felt his steady presence and quiet pride. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on June 20th at Church of the Assumption in Fairport.

Frank served his country with honor as a member of the U.S. Army traveling with the U.S. Army Field Band, an experience that shaped his lifelong appreciation for music, discipline and camaraderie. After his military service, he worked five years in Turkey for General Electric and five years in Germany for General Dynamics where he met his wife. Frank became a successful entrepreneur, founding LCI, a tool and dye business and later becoming a commercial property owner in Webster and Fairport, NY through Casa Properties. His work ethic integrity and ingenuity earned him deep respect within his community and industry.

Frank's life was also enriched by meaningful friendships and civic engagements. While spending time in Arizona, he and Fran met Frank Lamb, former mayor of Rochester, and his wife, Janet. Their friendship led the Casa's to become involved with Tempe Sister Cities, where they served on the board for 10 years and played an instrumental role in sending wheelchairs and medical supplies to Iraq, an effort that reflected Frank's life long belief in helping others.

Frank will be remembered for his quiet strength, his deep love for his family, and his unwavering commitment to service. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the community he helped strengthen.

He will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
