Frank J. Citro Sr. Veteran of WWII and the Korean War, beloved husband of 76 years to the late Patricia, nee Maly; loving father of Cynthia Marie and the late Frank Jr. ; cherished grandfather of Bryan and Ryon Thro, Tricia (Timothy) Moore, Heather, Tiffany, Cassie, Frank III, and Brooke Citro; beloved son of the late Emil, Sr. and Marie; dear brother of Richard (Frances), the late Evelyn (the late Joseph) Deluca, Anthony (the late Frances), Emil Jr. (the late Bernice), Theresa (the late Ralph) Trankina, and William (Diane); also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews. Frank drove for Consolidated Freightways for thirty years and was selected Illinois truck driver of the year in 1973 and inducted into the credit union hall of fame in 2002. Funeral Saturday, 9:15am from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave. Darien, to St. Scholastica Church Mass 10:00am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
