Rita Shipyor Obituary
Lived in Darien and Romeoville, was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Darien.
Retired from Pepperidge Farm in Downers Grove as a baker for many years.
Rita took great pride in caring for her grand and great grandkids.
She also enjoyed going to her camper in Wilmington.
Loved taking several trips with her husband and cousin Mary Ellen and John. Loved going to casinos too.
Survived by her children Mike (Debbie) Shipyor, Laurie (William) Zan, Daniel (Donna Kay) Shipyor, and Diane (PJ) McNellis.
Grandchildren Jennifer (James) Hartwell, William Zan Jr., Michael A. Shipyor, Ryann (James) Jacobazzi, Colin McNellis and her Great grandkids, Joshua, Drake, and Kelsey, 2 nephews Dave and Mark Anderson, and several cousins.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years Frederick, her parents Stanley and Helen Hanus, Sister Diane (Robert) Anderson, and daughter Corinne Marie.
In lieu of flowers donations to local Alzheimer associations would be appreciated.
