John M Boyle Sr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John M. Boyle, Sr., who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 74. John was known for his unwavering love for family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene Alba Boyle who he loved dearly with complete devotion and loyality, cherished daughters Holly (Jeff) Ryan, Valerie Alba, and Jennifer (Jon) VanFleet, as well as his dear grandchildren Alaina, Olivia, and Jonny. John was predeceased by his son, John Michael Boyle, Jr.

Born on February 15, 1951, John was the proud son of the late Thomas and Dorothy Boyle. He was a long-time resident of Cicero before making his home in Lemont, where he continued to embrace life with passion and enthusiasm.

John's love of classic cars was exemplified through his cherished 1969 Ford Fairlane, a true testament to his appreciation for history and craftsmanship. A devoted history buff, John had a particular admiration for Thomas Jefferson, and he possessed the rare talent of speaking fluent Spanish. His career as a packaging engineer with ACH was a source of pride for him, and he greatly enjoyed attending the packaging show each year.

Described by all who knew him as having a big heart, John's kindness and generosity were matched only by his sharp wit and patience. He relished spending time with his family, whether traveling to new places or simply enjoying each other's company.

John will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his unwavering spirit, dedication to his family, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
