Frank Marvin Culhane

Frank Marvin Culhane, 86, of Waldorf, MD, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025. Born September 1, 1939, in Federalsburg, MD, he was the son of the late Leo B. Culhane and Carrie M. Bartell Culhane.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his dear wife of 60 years, Ingrid Maria Culhane; sisters, Nellie Averill, Josephine Corwin and Evelyn Coyle; brothers, Leo B. Culhane, Jr., James E. Culhane, Robert L. Culhane and William R. Culhane.

Frank is survived by his son, David A. Culhane, and his wife, Shelley; daughter, Katherine M. Radl, and her husband, John; grandchildren, Brett D. Culhane and Callie B. Culhane; sister, L. Bernese Todd, and her husband, Bill; brother-in-law, Dieter K. Raczkowski, and his wife, Joyce; sister-in-law, Peggy Culhane; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frank graduated from Federalsburg High School, Class of 1957, and later attended Wesley College, where he played basketball. Following his service in the United States Army, Frank began a lifelong career in the banking industry, where he was known for his dedication, integrity, and professionalism.

A devoted Life Member of the Lions Club, Frank proudly maintained 58 years of perfect attendance and was honored with the Melvin Jones Award for his outstanding service and commitment to the organization.

Sports played a central role in Frank's life. He enjoyed playing softball and bowling, even earning recognition as a Maryland Senior Olympian. Above all, he found great joy in watching his children, David and Kathy, participate in sports throughout their lives, and later cheering on his grandchildren, Brett and Callie. Frank was one of their biggest fans and took immense pride in their accomplishments, both on and off the field.

A combined visitation and Memorial Service honoring Frank and Ingrid Culhane will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 5pm until time of Memorial Service at 7pm at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.

Interment will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11AM at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 East New Market Ellwood Road, Hurlock, Maryland 21643.
