Frank Desjardins, 72, of Oakfield, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Desjardins was born April 14, 1953, in Fort-Coulonge, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Oswald and Rose Anna (St. Jean) Desjardins.

Frank graduated from Oakfield-Alabama High School and married the love of his life, Darlene (Marrs) Desjardins. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy serving in Water Rescue. Once his service was completed, he went on to work as a Carpenter in Local 280, until his retirement. Not a man to be idle, he then pursued his CDL license and drove tractor trailer part time to stay busy.

As an avid outdoorsman, Frank loved boating with his family more than anything but also enjoyed fishing, hunting or any adventure outdoors. He was an enthusiast of muscle cars and all things fast. He enjoyed working in his garage, spending many hours each day working on projects and meticulously maintaining his beloved boat and truck. Well known for his scrap trailer, in and around Oakfield, he met many new friends and faces and enjoyed his weekly trips to unload during his retirement. But most of all Frank was a family man who cherished his family and enjoyed spending most of his time with them, especially his children and grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Darlene Desjardins; children, Frankie (late Carrie Faith) Desjardins Jr., Nicole (Duane) Toal, and Alicia Desjardins; Grandsons, Logan Toal and Luke Toal; brothers, Richard (Pam) Desjardins, and John Desjardins; sisters, Mona (Gary) Sulimowicz, and Nancy (late Joseph) Richthammer; the late Annette Desjardins, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, at Oakfield Community Bible Church. 80 N Main St, Oakfield, NY 14125, with a funeral service for Frank to follow.
