Frank DiGennaro Obituary Frank DiGennaro 87 of Morganville, formerly of Keansburg passed away Monday September 30, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Frank was born in Keansburg to the late Antimo DiGennaro and Antionette (Companelli) DiGennaro.
Frank is a graduate of Keyport High School proudly served his country in the United States Army until being honorably discharged in 1966.
Frank was the long-time business owner of F.J. & Sons Auto Repair of Keyport and long-time Member and Past Chief of New Point Comfort Fire Company of Keansburg.
Frank was a skilled auto mechanic, and loved restoring classic 50s & 60s cars back to their original glory, wining national honors for several of his competed projects, his beautiful restored cars were known throughout car club communities state wide. He also loved to fly, becoming pilot when he was 62 and then getting his IR rating, he thoroughly enjoyed the art and skill of flying. He donated his time and talent as a private pilot to the charity causes Young Eagles and Pilots N Paws.
Frank was married to his beloved wife June V. (Flack) DiGennaro for 63 years until her passing in 2022, he is also predeceased by his son Anthony DiGennaro; and his siblings Salvatore DiGennaro, Camille DiGennaro, Caroline Pittius, Vincent 'Jimmy' DiGennaro and Guy DiGennaro.
Frank leaves behind his loving children Frances Paone and her husband Joseph, of Morganville, Lucy Matthews and her husband Gary of Hazlet Michael DiGennaro and his wife Victoria of Red Bank, a dear daughter-in-law Susan Kenneally of Keansburg, cherished grandchildren Nicole DiGennaro and her fianc Justin of Keansburg, Fiona DiGennaro and her fianc Eric of Long Island, Meghan DeStefano and her husband Andrew of Middleton Abigail Matthews of Hazlet and Joey DiGennaro of Red Bank; three cherished great-grandchildren Ayden, Aubrie and Mason and his dear sister Bridget Cannemela of Florida
At the request of the family, Frank will be privately cremated.

Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation for Frank on Saturday October 5, 2024 from 1PM-4PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, NJ 07735.
