Frank Dimas, age 89, went peacefully into our Lord's loving arms on Friday August 8, 2025 in El Paso, Texas. He was born April 2, 1936 in Santa Rosa, NM to Joe Dimas and Maria Vigil Dimas. Frank was a devoted husband survived by his wife Lydia Dimas, sisters Agnes Romero, Angela Maestas. Preceded in death by sisters Celine Valdez, Benita Clark, Luis, Benito, Manuel and Johnny Dimas. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory. Frank was a Vietnam Veteran, honorably discharged. Last overseas service Vietnam.
A visitation will from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, August 25, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass is pending for 12:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at St. Michael's Fort Bliss Chapel #2, Fort Bliss, Texas (A visitors pass will be necessary to get on base). A committal service will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast.
