Frank Formicola Obituary
Gates: Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at age 91. He is predeceased by his wife, Joanne [Trannell] Formicola. He is survived by his children, Maryann Roberts (Jay Witkiewitz), Al (Katie) Formicola, and Frankie (Lisa) Formicola; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; many relatives and friends.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 3:00-7:00 pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Thursday, January 8, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Parish of the Holy Family (St. Jude’s site), 4100 Lyell Road. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western New York State Veterans Home, 220 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 in his memory.

I practiced law in Monroe County for 50 years (1966-2017) and represented Frank in negotiations with Marcel Fournier & Bob Fox probably in the 90's at Olympic Bowl. I knew Bob but did not know Frank or Marcel. My recollection is that there was a positive result. My condolences to Frank's family. May he Rest In Peace.
