Frank Hall Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Born August 18, 1933 in Asheville, Frank was a son of the late Charles and Virgie Johnson Hall. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Geraldine Hall, in January, and by a son, Bill Hall.
Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and worked for the United States Postal Service. He will be remembered as a great friend to the community.
Surviving is his son, Jeff (Susan); daughter, Marci (Jackie); grandchildren, Robbie, Dylan (Kasey) and Tanner (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Emersyn and Holston; and a sister, Marian Furlough.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 12:00 p.m. in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnson Cemetery in Newland, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

I am so sorry to learn of Franks passing I had the great pleasure of working with him at NCDC and the USPO. And personal time at Fontana Lake and family gatherings in the 70s and early 80s. The last time we spoke was at his sister-in-laws passing more than twenty years ago. A great man that will be truly missed. I´ll miss his services as I´m out of country, but he will be in my thoughts and prayers. Much love and positive thoughts to the family Mark Ferguson
