Frank B. Johnson 75, of the Elba Community in McLean County, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. Frank Baird Johnson was born May 30, 1950 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Theron and Betty Ann Baird Johnson and was married to the former Lisa Ann Haire on June 27, 2003.
Frank entered the Marines and served in the U.S. Army for 24 years. He retired as a supervisor from Whirlpool and was a farmer for most of his life.
Frank was a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and NASCAR.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Wilson.
Frank is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lisa Johnson; a son, Shane Johnson (Jennifer Allenbaugh) of Madisonville; a daughter, Deanna Sallee (Dustin) of Calhoun; a step daughter, Jamie Newcom of Miami, Florida; seven grandchildren, Samantha Johnson, Alex Johnson (Brittney), Jayden Johnson, Grace Murray (Ethan), Harrison Sallee, Kasia McClure, and Desmon McClure; and six great-grandchildren, Josie Cobb, Hattie Johnson, Theron Johnson, Mary Catherine Murray, Carter Johnson, and Coraline Johnson.
Family service will be held at a later date. There will be no public visitation or services. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Frank's family.
