Frank Clifford Langston, a beloved member of the Hosford community, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida. Born on May 22, 1941, in Sumatra, Florida, Frank led a life characterized by dedication, humor, and a profound love for the outdoors.

Throughout his career, Frank was a logger, a profession he pursued for most of his life, immersing himself in both the labor and the stories that accompanied it. His personality shone brightly; he was known for his fun-loving nature and an ability to tell engaging tales that captivated those around him. Frank wasn’t shy about speaking his mind, which endeared him to friends and family alike.

An esteemed veteran, Frank proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, a chapter of his life that influenced his strong character and deep appreciation for life.

In addition to his military service and career, Frank was an avid outdoorsman who cherished time spent fishing and hunting. These hobbies provided him joy and a means to bond with nature and loved ones especially his nephew Clifford Sewell who was his fishing partner.

Frank is survived by his sons, Cliff Langston and Robert Bradley; his grandchildren, Trammel Geiger and Chase Bradley; and his great-grandchildren, Avery, Blakely, Caydence, and Cove. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and strength.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Langston; his brothers, Jo and Buddy Langston; and his sister, Lilly Hodge.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Frank’s life on June 9, 2025. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM, at Hosford Cemetery in Hosford.

Frank will be remembered not only for his contributions to family and community but for the warmth and joy he brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
