Franky "Fresh" Lento passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, positivity, and love.
Born on May 1,1991, to Carl and Gayle Lento, Frank was raised in Salem, Massachusetts, at "the 113." A 2009 graduate of Salem High School, Frank was an all-star lacrosse player who went on to play four years of collegiate lacrosse and was a two-year captain. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration from Salem State University.
Frank had a unique gift for motivating others, encouraging them to reach for their dreams and embrace the beauty in life. He believed wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ, the power of prayer, and the strength that comes from genuine compassion. In recent years, Frank took these great attributes back to the field to coach youth lacrosse, something he took great pride in.
Frank's strong work ethic, intelligence, and ability to connect with others allowed him to thrive in his chosen field of financial services/vehicle renting and sales. He was truly an asset to every work team he was a part of, and was given several awards due to his skill, drive, and infectious personality.
Frank's close relationship with his brother, Vinny, was a testament to the bond they shared. Growing up just over a year apart, the two were partners in adventure and each other's greatest supporters and protectors. You could always find them spending a football Sunday with Dad or playing a pickup game of basketball. He also shared an unbreakable bond with his parents, Carl and Gayle Lento. He cherished their unwavering love, support, and friendship.
Additionally, Frank leaves behind his beloved soulmate, Gio, whose longtime love brought him immense joy and happiness. Frank loved visiting Gio at UMass, sharing their first apartment together in Northampton, and creating countless, beautiful memories back on the North Shore. Frank's giant heart, sincere kindness, and quirky/hilarious personality filled all their days with the brightest love and non-stop laughter. Frank was also an incredible dog dad to their loyal pup Gronk, and his little family will miss him more than words could ever express.
Frank had the ability to bring everyone together with his warmth and charisma. He was a natural born leader and created community everywhere he went, touching the lives of close friends and strangers alike. He excelled in social settings and, over the years, made countless friends. He held a special place in his heart for his close-knit group of friends, whom he considered brothers. He truly loved you all. Fresh Inc. Forever.
Frank is survived by his father, Carl Lento; soulmate, Giovanna Randazzo; brother, Vincent Lento, and his fiance McKenzie Shultz; grandmother, Priscilla McDonald; as well as a very long list of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Frank was predeceased by his mother, Gayle Lento, who we know was waiting for "her Franky" to come home to Her.
Visitation hours for Frank will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 4:00-8:00pm at the Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be mailed to Salem High School in Frank's memory. Checks can be made out to Salem High School Lacrosse. The family appreciates your support during this difficult time.

Our deepest condolences from the Holt family. Your kindness and talent that you shared with Zach was a gift. He learned so much from you on the lacrosse field. I hope he did you proud when he had to fill your hugely talented shoes at X. Thank you for your heart and support.
