The Measure of a Good Man~ God Bless Frank Malzone!
The Measure of a Good Man.... and the life he lived on earth
Is not measured at all, in inches tall, or Years lived since his birth
*
Nay the Measure of a Good Man.... counted well from Heaven Above
Is the Heart´s he healed, the Lives he touched, ...how much he Cared and Loved!
*
For you see some Men are tall, some short, ....but that is not their True Measure
Some live few years, some reach old age, collecting Lifetime´s Treasure
*
That Treasure of the Love he gave, and the Love given to him
Is the only thing from here on Earth, takes with him into Heaven
*
*
*
And so it seems Frank our Good Man here.... is rich beyond compare
With the Measure of his Treasure shared, ... collected all his years
*
His Soul takes Above the Gold of Love, this Good Man´s Heart did save
And a hundredfold, worth more than Gold, our Treasure of Love HE ...GAVE!
*
To Heaven Bright he did re-unite... with Family, Friends he Loved!
God Bless His Soul, that achieved life´s Goal, now in Heaven up Above!
*
And as we who stay, recall his days, those memories now ...OUR Treasure
Stored in our Heart, never to part, ...of This Good Man beyond all Measure!

God Bless You Captain Malzone! 40 years ago I was a green EMT with Paterson FD and you were Capt over us! It was my distinct privilege and honor to have been guided and tolerated ;) by you and your style of leadership was an example to me and many of just what a good leader should be! Now as an ER doc I can honestly say that I am what I am in a big part because of YOU Sir, your wisdom and knowledge, good natured humor, truly a good guy. Your support and guidance helped me to take a step from EMT to Paramedic to where I am now. And as far as I am concerned, for every patient I have ever treated over these past 30 years as a physician, I can honestly say they ALL have in a very real sense been touched by the heart and soul of Frank Malzone, the man who so inspired me. Farewell and Salute Sir, May Heaven Welcome you as the Bells Ring out for you! Joe O'Connell
