Boardman, OH - Frank S. Masluk, 86, a man whose life was defined by love, family, and unwavering dedication, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and boundless devotion.

Frank was born on November 17, 1938, in Youngstown, OH, the son of Frank S. & Irene (Mlynarski) Masluk. Frank’s life was anchored by his love for his wife, Shirley Ann Pavlov, whom he met while attending Youngstown University. Their love story began on campus and blossomed into a remarkable partnership spanning nearly 67 years. To all who knew Frank, it was clear: Shirley was the love of his life, his best friend, and the heart of everything he did. Together, they built not just a family but a beautiful life full of joy, laughter, and deep connection.

Frank embodied the American Dream. In 1984, he founded Torque Drives Inc. and served as its President, guiding the company with integrity and vision. His leadership built a successful business that he passed on to his children upon his retirement, securing a legacy of hard work and family unity.

A man of deep faith and community spirit, Frank volunteered as a reader at St. Charles Church in Boardman, OH. He also mentored countless young athletes as a football coach for the school’s 7th and 8th grade teams and as an umpire for Boardman Little League.

Frank had a naturally social spirit and wide circle of friends that brought him great joy. He loved spending time with his friends on the golf course, around a card table (or casino), or gathering for a meal at one of his favorite restaurants. Even as age slowed him down, when his health allowed, he was always out enjoying good company and conversation as his friends were another source of happiness throughout his life.

What Frank loved most, however, was spending time with his family. He and Shirley were warm, welcoming hosts of countless dinners and celebrations at their home, all moments filled with laughter, stories, and love. He cherished taking his children and grandchildren to dinners, sporting events, and on unforgettable vacations. These were the moments he lived for, and he created memories that will be treasured for generations.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank S. and Irene (Mlynarski) Masluk. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley, whose strength and companionship were the cornerstone of his life; his brother Terry (Barb) Masluk; his children - Melanie (Bill) Culp, Kimberly (Merle) Madrid, Missy (Keith) Meyer, and Chuck (Debbie) Masluk; and 9 cherished grandchildren - Merle (Shoni) Madrid, Matthew (Victoria) Madrid, Christopher Culp, Alyssa (Joe) Cunningham, Jack Meyer, Keith Meyer, Abigail (Anthony) Audi, Madeline Masluk, Emily Masluk; and 4 great-grandchildren - Mary, Brooks, & Myles Madrid, and Cooper Cunningham. Each of them carries forward his values, his love, and the lessons he so generously shared.

Frank Masluk lived a life of purpose, guided by love, grounded in faith, and rich with family. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 20th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, 2726 Center Rd, Poland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine of Siena at St. Charles Church in Boardman at 10:00AM on Monday, July 21st.
