Frank “Pancho” Mendoza of San Angelo passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 59. He was born June 27, 1954 in Van Horn, Texas to Frank and Felicita (Escajeda) Mendoza. He married his childhood sweetheart Mildred Naron on December 31, 1979.
Frank loved to play golf and was an avid UT and Cowboys fan, he also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh, and he also loved BMW’s. Frank was an awesome dad and papa and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mildred Naron Mendoza of San Angelo; daughter, Kasi Diaz and Tony of Denver City; three sons, Chase and Daniella, Stormy and Valerie Mendoza, Jaimie and Chelsea Vivian all of San Angelo, one brother and four sisters, sister-in-law Barbara and Don Conoly, two nephews Eric and Scott Conoly, two great nieces; Brooklynn and Aubrye, nine grandchildren, Toni Jo, Miles Anthony, Trinity Rain, Seven River, Kaiden Mack, Ashlynn, Kenzzie, James and Laila, and Hayden.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Felicita Mendoza, his mother-in-law Anna Minyard and a niece, Brandi Antwinique Conoly.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, August 2, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 263 East 40th Street, San Angelo, Texas.
