Frank Rocha Olivarez

Frank "Guero" Olivarez, 70, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026 in San Antonio, TX surrounded by his family. Born on September 9, 1955 in Evanston, Illinois to Leonard Olivarez, Sr. and Barbara Dale Olivarez, he was a hardworking man who worked in pool construction until his health conditions forced him to retire. He was devoted to his son and grandchildren and anyone who needed assistance and when he wasn't working, he spent his time helping others in need.

Frank had a contagious smile that radiated to those around him. His positive attitude toward everything life put in his path was a precious gift which he inherited from his parents Leonard and Barbara. He will forever remain a pillar of strength for our family, and his loving presence will be deeply missed.

Frank is survived by his son, Ray Olivarez (Melissa), grandchildren Jonathan Ray Olivarez, Natalie Celeste Olivarez, Giuliana Renee Olivarez, brothers Leonard Olivarez, Jr., Raymond Olivarez, sisters Helen O. Ruiz (Raul), Susie Hernandez (Jerry), and Sylvia O. Ibarra (Danny), and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Olivarez, Sr. and Barbara Dale Olivarez, sisters, Barbara Ann Martinez, Rose Marie Garcia and Lupe O. Cantu.
