Frank Clark Reynolds, a beloved rancher and horse trainer, passed from this world on August 31, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on December 23, 1967, in Casper, WY, Frank was a true cowboy at heart, living life with a genuine spirit, a big heart, and a laugh that would leave anyone with a smile. A proud member of the Wyoming Reined Cowhorse Association and various other team roping associations, Frank shared many laughs and great times with friends and family. He had a knack for roping, winding little kids up, and filling their hands full of chocolate and Mountain Dew. When he wasn’t training horses, or at community ranch activities, you might find him on a mountain fishing trip or telling a good ol’ story that would have folks doubled over with laughter. Education wise, Frank graduated from Campbell County High School in 1986 and then continued his education at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. But let’s be honest, it was the thrill of the reins and the ranch way of life that truly interested him. October 15,1988 Frank married Jana Atkins in Gillette, Wyoming. Frank was the proud father of Shawn Robin Reynolds, who definitely inherited Frank’s love for horses and the ranching way of life. Frank leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter, Shawn Robin (Reynolds) Chape, her husband Glen, and their son Kyle, all of Coonabarabran, NSW, Australia; his father Clark L. Reynolds of Rozet, Wyoming; and his brother Quentin Reynolds, his wife Kathy, and their sons, Quincy and Kashton Reynolds of Rozet, Wyoming. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen A. Reynolds. Frank will be remembered not just as a cowboy but by his laugh. here on Earth, we’re confident he’s riding high now. Frank’s memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m., September 12, 2025, at Family Life Church in Gillette, WY. Friends and family are invited to share in the love and laughter that he brought into all of our lives. So, get ready to tip your hats, share your favorite Frank stories, and celebrate.
