Frank E. "The King" Richichi, 74, of Bellingham, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Countryside Health Care of Milford after a period of declining health. He was the Beloved Husband and "Tootsie" of 52 years of Mary Ann (Johanson) Richichi. Born in Tarrytown, NY, he was raised in White Plains, NY and was a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains. Mr. Richichi then was awarded a scholarship to attended Boston College to play basketball under Coach Bob Cousy. He earned his Bachelors' Degree in Economics in 1964. He was a resident of Pleasant Valley, NY for over 40 years before moving to Bellingham in 2009 to be closer to his family. Mr. Richichi worked as a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch in Poughkeepsie, NY for many years, retiring several years ago. He was an avid golfer. In his free time, he enjoyed day trading stocks and traveling to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Donna M. Marsh and her husband Kevin of Hopedale, Frank A. Richichi and his wife Maureen of NC and Dana A. Budka and her husband David of Walpole. He was the beloved grandfather of Jack Marsh, Sean Richichi, Kyle Richichi, Owen Richichi, William Budka and Thomas "TJ" Budka. He was the brother of Dorothy M. Richichi of NY, JoAnne Richichi of NJ and the late Dennis J. Richichi. He was the brother in law of Kathleen Devine of NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Brendan's Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham on Saturday, August 13th, at 10AM. Visiting hours will be held in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St., Franklin on Friday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168. I just found out about Frank's passing. I am devistated with grief. We had not seen each other in long time but he was always in my thoughts. I am very sorry for your loss mary ann & children. He will always be in my prayers as well will you be love Joanne

What a sad way to find out what happened to my senior prom date. He was tall, dark and handsome and he could shoot baskets from anywhere on the court.So glad to hear he was loved and appreciated by so many. Celine Barry Shea
