Frank Lee Thiele, Jr. of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away on December 22, 2024, in his home surrounded by loved ones.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Belmond Cemetery in Belmond with Pastor Jason Lubben officiating.
Family and friends are invited to the Evangelical Free Church, 2796 130th Street in Belmond, for refreshments and fellowship following the graveside service.
He was born September 18, 1952, in St. Paul, MN, to parents Frank Lee Thiele, Sr. and Betty Jo Huff.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Linda, three daughters, four grandchildren, and two brothers.
Frank was a huge fan of the Minnesota sports teams, especially the Gophers. Since moving to Arkansas, he took a great interest in supporting the Razorbacks.
He was a huge 50's fan, enjoying this era, especially the music, Elvis Presley his favorite, classic cars, environment of the time.
His movie collection and sound systems gave him immense enjoyment. He loved movies, especially old ones, taking great interest in the directing, acting, and production.
Reading manuals were a huge part of Frank along with cuddling up with his dog, Hercules.
In the last ten years, he experienced great joy watching his grandson grow in his sports participation and success, especially in ice hockey. This enjoyment in youth sports continued in his work as a custodian of the sports complex at Jacksonville High School.
