Wow, where do I start?
My dear Godfather,
I was so blessed to have you & Jeanette as my Godparents.
You were there in my earliest childhood memories.
You were best friends with my parents, as well as the Massari´s & Longo´s. We had many of the holiday family picnics together along with all the fun games.
Buddy played cards with my Dad Artie.
I remember going to your hair salon with my mother and getting into the wash-out bowl and hosing one of your clients under the dryer. You didn´t get too mad. I just had to sit in the car till you came out to give me a talk with a hug.
One of your funny stories you always told me was how you played a trick on my grandpa by putting a large store bought tomatoe on my grandpa´s plant.
What a laugh. You sure did have that gift to always make people around you laugh & feel welcome.
Another special memory was Jeanette & you bringing the gifts down during the Mass at my wedding.
That was so beautiful and will always be in my core memory.

I will always miss you!
I know you are with Jesus in peace & out of pain.

Sending prayer's of comfort to my Godmother Jeanette & the family.
I love you all dearly,
Joy

Having previously sent in a message about this lovely man, I feel I need to send in another one after reading the loving tribute from Frank´s son, Michael. You all were so lucky to have him in your lives to show you the true meaning of love & the meaning of family. You all were truly blessed & so was he.

How do I begin to describe a life so full of love, laughter, and commitment to family and friends? No matter what was going on in his life, he always had time for people. He always had a smile on his face or a joke to tell. Family and friends adored him, and so did his wife and children.
There are many great moms and dads out there, and nobody´s perfect except for the man above - but my dad was as close to perfect to me as you can get. He loved his grandchildren. He loved his children and his wife. He loved laughter, good conversation, and his country.
He always said, "Never take life for granted because you don´t know when it ends. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift. Maybe that´s why we call it the present."
He never liked to say goodbye. He would always say, "Don´t say goodbye - say I´ll see you later."
Life goes on. Life goes different. You will be the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I think of when I close my eyes at night. Thank you for the love you´ve given and shared with me, my wife Kim, and my three children, Michael Jr., Zachary, and Gabriella. Each of us has a piece of you.
I love you, and I will miss you always. Your loving son, Michael

Definitely one of Stamford`s finest! My condolences to the entire Vartuli family. So many great memories of growing up with Frank, Ralph, Mike and Roxanne. We always had a great time when Mr. Vartuli was with us. What a fun guy I remember sitting watching Little League games on Vine Road with my father and when Mr. Vartuli came walking down the hill to join us. Everybody in the bleachers was smiling and waving saying hi to him. Get ready for a good time heaven Mr. Vartuli´s on his way.

I remember Frank from my days working at Stamford Savings/First County bank back in the Seventies & eighties. As soon as he walked in the bank everyone, employees & customers became happier people. He had an aura about him & sense of humor that put everyone in a better mood. And boy was he a good looking man. I remember seeing him many years later at the Atlantic st. office sitting in the managers (who was a rather serious man) office. I walked in & said " hey Frank when did you get out of jail?" I knew he´d go along with it, which he did in Frank style. I thought that manager was going to have a heart attack. Boy did we have a good laugh. He was a gem of a man. Deepest sympathy to all those who loved this remarkable human being.

Dear Mr. V. :
Thanksgiving will never be the same for me without hearing: "is Diane bringing the rice balls?" and you patiently waiting for me. Seeing you enjoy the mashed potatoes. And then at dessert you would always ask me if I made a lemon meringue pie. Not sure I will ever make another one. I always said, It wasn´t Thanksgiving until you and Mrs. V. got there.
Listening to your jokes and talking about old movies and movie stars. Always dressed so stylishly!! You will be missed more than you know. I won´t say goodbye. I will say, I´ll see you later.
Luv Ya
