Frank J.” Frannie” White, 78, of 10 Judick Street, Shrewsbury, died Friday, April 23rd in the Hospice House on Coes Pond in Worcester after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Ada M. (Spaulding) White; four brothers, Peter and Robert White both of Shrewsbury, Thomas White of Millbury and William White of Northborough; four sisters, Elizabeth M. DeAngelis and Julia Blanchard both of Shrewsbury, Ruth Esteves of West Boylston and Mary-Ann Kittridge of Quinebaug, CT; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. White was predeceased by four brothers, Edward, Joseph, Roland and Arthur White.

Mr. White was born in Shrewsbury, son of the late Peter H. and Elizabeth (Miner) White and had lived in Shrewsbury for many years. He was a W.W. II U.S. Navy veteran.

He had worked for the family business, the Peter White Plastering Company, as a Mason and Plasterer for over 20 years, before he retired in1984.

He was a member of Saint Anne’s Church in Shrewsbury and was an avid fisherman.

Mr. White’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 27th, 2004 from the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury with a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, Burial will take place in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 26th, 2004 from 6-8 P.M. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
