Frank E. Yaeger, 73, of Mokena, IL passed away on December 17, 2024.
He is survived by his wife, Debra, his children Jillian Yaeger and Jenna (Jaime) Guajardo. Also blessed with 3 grandchildren Jayla and Jianna Guajardo and Jaxton Yaeger. Fond brother in-law and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his father Karl Yaeger, mother Mildred (Lazzara) Tolomeo, stepfather Steve Tolomeo and sister Cyndy Curalli (Joe Curalli).
Frank is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Then worked as a carpenter while raising 2 daughters. Frank also dedicated 40 plus years as a girls’ softball coach and hitting instructor. He was a passionate and knowledgeable coach of many former and present softball players from countless teams, most recently with Prestige and University of St Francis. Outside of his professional life he enjoyed fishing, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and hanging out with his large extended family.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 22nd, from 12pm to 6pm.at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox. A military memorial service will be held on May 12, 2025 2:30pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association, see links below.
