Frankie Crabtree Obituary
Mrs. Crabtree was born in Greenville, Florida and later moved to Jacksonville with her family. After graduation from Fletcher High School, she began her career as a Teller with Florida National Bank. She stayed home to raise her daughter and supported her husband in his career.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Richard "Dick" Crabtree on April 29, 2024 and her brother-in-law, Tom Crabtree. Surviving family include her daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" Leadbeater; grandson: Rich Leadbeater; brothers-in-law: Bill (Ann) Crabtree and Jim (Susan) Crabtree and Tom's wife, Camille Crabtree; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside funeral service will be held on January 7, 2026 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Mr. Joe Cannon, offering the eulogy and Rev. Tim Rigdon, officiating.
Peeples Family Funeral Home is serving the Crabtree Family.

Frankie and I met in grammar school in Jacksonville Beach and went through Fletcher High School where we were cheerleaders. She was a lovely girl and woman. We spoke by phone shortly after her husband´s death and shortly before my husband, Norman Thompson, died. He was also a Jacksonville Beach kid! My condolences to her daughter and all the family.
